Treatment Philosophy

End-to-end Facial care is the system.

Assessment, aesthetic direction, technology, technique, recovery and review—designed as one connected experience.

La Dermalogique treatment methodology and recovery care

Our point of view

Less intervention. More intention.

A device can create an effect. It cannot decide what change belongs on a particular face or what the skin needs before and afterwards.

We connect facial assessment, treatment mapping, technology, manual technique, active ingredients and recovery support. Every stage must have a purpose, and the plan must remain appropriate for the individual.

The objective is not maximum intervention. It is useful change that respects the face, supports the skin and still looks like you.

Our five-stage methodology

From first assessment to informed review.

Not every treatment uses the same tools, but every treatment follows the same discipline.

01

Assess

We consider skin condition, facial structure, lifestyle, treatment history, sensitivities and the result you want.

02

Design

We determine the appropriate method, intensity, treatment vector and sequence rather than defaulting to the strongest option.

03

Treat

Technology, manual technique and selected treatment products are brought together around a defined objective.

04

Support

Masks, serums and selected red or near-infrared light modalities support comfort and the recovery phase.

05

Review

Progress is documented honestly and the next stage is adjusted according to observed response.

01

Aesthetic direction matters

Effective facial treatment is not simply more lifting or tightening. Direction, vector and degree of change must complement anatomy and proportion.

02

Technology must earn its place

We select equipment according to purpose, controllability, client experience and how it integrates into a complete protocol.

03

Recovery is part of treatment

Preparation and post-treatment support are not optional extras. They influence comfort, resilience and the overall experience.

04

Identity should be preserved

Our aim is a fresher, better-supported version of the client—not a face that looks generically treated.

05

Evidence should be honest

Results should be presented clearly, without retouching treatment outcomes or overstating what a protocol can achieve.

06

Knowing when not to treat matters

Deferral or referral may be appropriate when a concern requires medical assessment, additional recovery or a different approach.

A genuine La Dermalogique assessment and treatment

Light as part of recovery

The appointment should finish as thoughtfully as it begins.

Many La Dermalogique protocols conclude with red-light or another appropriate light-modulation step. The intention is not to add spectacle, but to support the recovery phase and complete an end-to-end treatment experience.

Where light is not appropriate or not part of a specific protocol, it is not included merely for consistency.

Choose a pathway

Different concerns require different forms of care.

Each pathway compares the available approaches before you choose a treatment.
